Feeds are a curated selection of all of the skeets on Bluesky. Depending on the feed, they might be focused on skeets from users of a certain cultural background, skeets in a certain language, or skeets concerning a certain interest.
Because of the way the Bluesky experience is focused on feeds, it’s unique from other microblogging social media sites that you may have used in the past. Feeds are a curated selection of all the skeets on Bluesky. They might include skeets from users with a certain cultural background, or in a certain language, or simply posts around a certain niche interest.
To explore popular feeds, click here to visit the “Discover new feeds” page in the Bluesky app. Alternatively, you can click on the My Feeds option in your left sidebar, then click the gray Discover new feeds button at the top of the “My Feeds” page. You’ll see a list of the most popular feeds on Bluesky. To find out more about a feed, click on the feed’s name to view its page and some of the latests skeets in that feed.
You can add a feed either through the “Discover new feeds” page or through a specific feed’s page. To add a feed from the “Discover new feeds” page, click the blue + button on the right side of the feed’s entry. To add a feed through the specific feed’s page, click the black Add to My Feeds button at the top of the feed’s page.
You can browse less popular feeds by using a service such as goodfeeds.co.
You can look at all the feeds you’ve added any time by clicking on the My Feeds option in the left sidebar. However, you can pin your favorite feeds to your home page to make them even more convenient to browse.
To pin a feed, return to the “My Feeds” page in the app. Click on the settings cog ⚙️ at the top right of the page. You’ll see a list of all the feeds you’ve added. Click on the gray thumbtack icons to the right of a list name to toggle the list to “pinned”. The icon will turn blue. You can unpin the feed by clicking the thumbtack icon again.
Return to your home page by clicking the Home option in the left sidebar. You’ll see all the feeds you pinned as tab options at the top of the screen.
